This song is about a girl that was being teased when she was small but when she grew up she became very successful and famous. The people that used to call her names and didn’t let her play suddenly came up to her and said that they were her “good” friends. A few years ago, when I first came to this school, I didn’t know much English so my grades were really bad so no one talked or played with me; they even teased me and insulted me. I was determined to get good grades and now I have pretty good grades, those people started playing with me. It was just like Jessie J who said: “Who’s laughing now?”

I chose this song because it’s about having fun. The song is saying that some people are so tight, strict that they always talk and can’t relax but some people just want to have fun. Sometimes I invite my friends over and just crank up the music so loud and just relax. The song said: “I’m just looking for a good night, I’m not looking for the right time.” It’s all about having and letting you move with the music! Imagine, a long, hard-working week and on Saturday you invite your friends over and just relaxing with the music full blast. Isn't that great?!

This song is about friendship and best friends have always got each other’s back. Whenever I hear this song I think about my best friends, Lisa and Judy. They’ve been my best friends for only 2 years but it feels like we’ve been best friends since we were not born. Judy is currently in America but Lisa and I still talk to her almost every weekend. “Hey wasn’t it you who’s always been there for me” is this line that I always say to my friends when they are down and they don’t want me to help. Here in Vietnam, whenever I get in trouble or sad Lisa always tries to help me and shares things with me. Lisa and Judy are the greatest friends I’ve ever had. “Hey isn’t it true, we promised to always be best friends forever.”

I was bullied and called a loser, but now I’m proud to be a loser. There was once a person who told me that “Losers don’t exist. My family and I always do charity and we are always praying, hoping for the people that are less fortunate around the world. “I just can’t sleep tonight, knowing that things ain’t right, it’s in the papers it’s in the TV.” This sentence is completely true to me because some nights I just lie awake thinking about why other people don’t have a home while I have a lovely home. It doesn’t seem fair. We try different ways to help others. One of my aunts spends most of her time only doing charity. She joins different charity groups in different cities in Vietnam to help with medication, food, and other things. A few times a month she lets me go with her so I can help her cook the food for the children or give out food. I know a lot of people in the world who have great warm hearts that are always praying for others and I hope more people will get together to help their community.

She has a lot of work so she is not around very often so sometimes I don't see her for days. That is why whenever I see her I will just hug her and spend as much time with her as possible. Since she's a businesswoman, her phone is always ringing so whenever I want to talk to her, she's always on the phone. I wish she would not be busy for just ONE day.
